WHAT I DO
Ebonee is a licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist in Portland, OR. She specializes in facials, sugaring (hair removal), beauty consultations and makeup for all skin types and skin tones.
Ebonee was inspired to create Ebonee\Makeup because she knows all to well how difficult it is to find natural, chemical-free products that worked for her oily, dark skin. Foundations looked too dark/too ashy or products would dry out her skin.
Ebonee is passionate about beauty & skin care education. With her training and experience, she hopes to share her knowledge and expertise with women, trans women and non-binary who need tips and guidance with finding products that will work for both their skin type and skin tone.
Ebonee's journey began when she took a theater stage makeup course while she studied Studio Art at Linfield College. Her passion and creativity in the arts helped her discover her talents with makeup. Along with her love for film, she decided to further study makeup for television and film.
Once she graduated with a Bachelors in Art, she continued her education by studying beauty makeup and esthetics at Marinello Schools of Beauty, where she later received her Esthetics license. A few months later, she was accepted into the Makeup for TV & Film Program at the Vancouver Film School in Vancouver, BC Canada where she learned a wide range of makeup effects. During the year long program, she learned not only beauty and glamour but out-of-kit effects (injuries such as cuts & bruises), hair laying & ventilation, prosthetic fabrication & application, etc.
After completing the program and receiving her diploma, she returned to the lovely city of Portland where she now works as an esthetician and makeup artist.
During her free time, Ebonee collaborates with local photographers on artistic projects and participates in photo competitions. She occasionally interns at Ravenous Studios and she assists with SPFX projects for film productions in the Portland area. She also teaches skin care classes and hosts Group Reiki to the public at The Herb Shoppe.
